Queridos Hermanos:

     Hace poco más de diez años, comenzamos el ministerio juntos como un matrimonio joven en un pequeño estudio bíblico en español, que creció hasta convertirse en lo que ahora es Cosecha Church.

 

     Después de tres años de matrimonio, dimos un paso de fe y plantamos la iglesia. A través de muchos altibajos, y con la ayuda de muchos servidores dentro y fuera de la iglesia, hemos visto a Dios hacer muchas cosas maravillosas durante estos siete años.

 

     Entre ellas se encuentran las siguientes:

  • Tres parejas recibieron consejería prematrimonial bíblica, lo que resultó en que dos de ellas fuera casadas por el pastor Jimmy y la otra con un ministro fuera del estado.

  • Dos familias recibieron asesoría sobre el duelo mientras atravesaban el hospicio y la pérdida de un ser querido que ahora está en la presencia de Cristo.

  • Un adolescente en crisis recibió asesoría y los padres de muchos otros recibieron oración y apoyo en diversas situaciones difíciles.

  • Una pareja misionera recibió aliento y consejo para afrontar nuevas situaciones y decisiones difíciles a través de reuniones en persona y por teléfono durante más de un año.

  • Un grupo en Ecuador fue acompañado por las enseñanzas semanales.

  • Muchas otras familias e individuos recibieron aliento, oración, consejos y otro tipo de apoyo a través de llamadas telefónicas, reuniones, estudios bíblicos, visitas al hospital, etc.

 

     Todo esto fue posible gracias a sus oraciones y apoyo.

 

     Sin embargo, desde hace un tiempo, Dios nos ha estado mostrando una nueva dirección para el ministerio, y después de mucha oración, hemos decidido que es hora de cerrar las puertas de Cosecha Church.

 

     Nuestro servicio final fue la semana de nuestro séptimo aniversario, el domingo 10 de marzo de 2024, en nuestro hogar. No realizaremos mas servicios. También les informamos que no habrá presencia en línea hasta al menos principios de junio, mientras averiguamos cómo se verá el futuro del ministerio.

 

     El plan es de continuar la enseñanza en línea hasta el final del Apocalipsis. Cualquier otro plan se anunciará después.

 

     Ha sido un honor y un placer servirle y servir con usted todos estos años.

     Que el Señor os bendiga y os guarde. Que el Señor haga brillar su rostro sobre vosotros y os de paz.

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

     Just over ten years ago, we began ministering together as a young married couple for a small Spanish Bible study, which grew into what is now Cosecha Church.

    

     After three years of marriage, we stepped out in faith and planted the church. Through many ups and downs, and with the help of many servants within and outside the church, we have watched God do many great things through Cosecha Church over these seven years.

 

     Among them are the following:

  • Three couples received Biblical premarital counseling, resulting in two being married by Pastor Jimmy and the other being married by a minister out of state.

  • Two families received bereavement counseling as they walked through both hospice and the loss of a loved one who is now in the presence of Christ.

  • One teen received crisis counseling, and the parents of many others received prayer and support through various difficult situations.

  • Missionaries received encouragement and counsel navigating new situations and difficult decisions through in-person and over-the-phone meetings for over a year.

  • A group in Ecuador was ministered to by the teaching ministry.

  • Many other families and individuals received encouragement, prayer, advice, and other support through phone calls, meetings, Bible Studies, hospital visits, etc.

 

   All of this was made possible because of your prayers and support.

  

   However, for a while, God has been showing us a new direction for the ministry, and after much prayer, we have decided it is time to close the doors of Cosecha Church.

 

     Our final service took place on the week of our 7th Anniversary, Sunday, March 10, 2024, in our home. We are no longer holding services. You should also expect no online presence until at least the beginning of June, while we figure out what the future of the ministry will look like.

 

     The plan is to continue online teaching through the end of Revelation. Any other plans will be announced after that time.

 

     It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve and serve with you all these years.

 

     May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and give you peace.
